About Us

Venturing into 2008, Screen Process & Digital Imaging magazine has exciting news for readers and industry alike. The opportunity has arisen to publish the Plastics & Board Industries Federation magazine (formerly the Federation of High Frequency Welders) as a quarterly supplement to SPDI.

Adopting the new title of Plastics and Board, the PBIF magazine sits well along side SPDI, thanks to its strong connection with the screen and digital printing industries. Many manufacturers of paper and board products have their own in-house screen and digital printing facilities, with those that don't subcontracting this aspect of their business to screen and digital print specialists.

Likewise, many screen and digital printers offer turnkey services (including folder and binder welding) which, in turn, they subcontract to specialist high frequency welders.

Large volumes of subcontract work pass between companies in these sectors, so what better way of introducing these businesses and their services, than integrating Plastics and Board with Screen Process and Digital Imaging's existing portfolio.

With Screen Process & Digital Imaging now the sole magazine dedicated to serving both the screen and wide format digital printing sectors, the title will continue its quest to help printers and suppliers manage unprecedented change and exploit the opportunities such change brings into 2008.

The last 12-months has seen many major developments, with an array of pioneering products and services reaching the market. Amid this change one thing is certain; screen printing remains a vibrant business. The digital boom may be slowing, yet it seems a more even playing field has surfaced as a result.

So, if you require market leading information, with a careful blend of news and authoritative features ranging from detailed technical articles and customer case studies, to equipment reviews and industry comments, plus a quality magazine first published in 1951 and avidly read by influential buyers on both side of the market, look no further than SPDI.
