What’s the colour of money
AM Micro has announce PowerRIP X for the Epson Stylus Pro 3800, described as the essential tool for getting the best photographic images, fine art prints and colour matched proofs from Epson's latest photo printer.
The company claims PowerRIP X offers unique support for the improved screening possible on the 3800, which means no other RIP can match the output detail. Only one colour profile is needed for each media type, regardless of print resolution.
PowerRIP X users will enjoy free ICC profiling for the 3800. Epson uses factory colorimetric calibration which means remote ICC profiles can be used. IProof Systems will profile any untested paper provided it works with UltraChrome K3 inks.
The full version costs £199.
