Print solutions firm, NCS Group, is set to combine its electronic expertise with substrate knowledge from Pyramid Display Materials in a partnership which will see the two companies offer an enhanced service to the screen and digital print market.

Business development manager at NCS Group, Garry Brown, said: “This strategic partnership enables both companies to offer an all encompassing solution to their respective customers. Technology is pivotal in the market place, which brings with it the need for total service provision in terms of hardware, software, professional services, inks and materials. Pyramid brings a focus on substrates which is vital in supporting other NCS services.”

A geographic fit also means both companies will be better placed to service clients across the UK. Pyramid has facilities in Gateshead, Manchester and Birmingham while NCS has strength in Newcastle, Leeds and London.

The news comes just weeks after NCS unveiled a £500k investment in its demonstration centre and a deal to be the exclusive UK supplier of the Durst Rho 600 flatbed UV inkjet printer. Combined with a broad portfolio including Mimaki hardware and rip software, this provides clients with printing equipment, enabling software, consumables and ongoing maintenance.
