Sun Chemical has combined its Boss Graphic Supplies and WebXtras businesses to create a single UK consumables division, called Sun Chemical Consumables. Created to supply a one-stop-service to the graphic arts industry, the new company will supply a range of tailored product and service packages designed to meet printers’ requirements.
Products in the Sun Chemical Consumables portfolio will include press blankets, fount solutions, rollers, splicing tapes, washes, solvents and speciality chemicals, personal protective equipment, silicone solutions, stitching wire, strapping and pressroom equipment. Support will be available from Sun Chemical’s sales and technical service teams, with on-site training and advice on best practice for safe handling, storage and use of the products.
The new division is led by Charles Frost, who said: “The creation of this new division is an important step towards helping our customers in the printing sector to purchase a range of products from a single source.”
