Centre stage on the Spandex stand is the Gerber Solara UV2, designed to provide an affordable flatbed and roll-fed UV inkjet printer. Features include six-colour CMYK plus violet and green for brilliant results. The machine can prints up to 200 450mm x 610mm signs per day. The Gerber Solara UV2 suits rigid substrates textiles, flag and banner material.
Spandex will also introduce Mutoh’s 1.6m ValueJet 1604. The ValueJet prints banners at up to 15m2 an hour, while practically eliminating banding thanks to its Intelligent Interweaving technology. Summa’s latest generation of print-to-cut solutions, which boast integrated optical alignment systems for contour cutting, will also be demonstrated.
Also present, the Gerber Edge FX, enables quick production of customised indoor and outdoor graphics. Over 3,500 spot colours are offered, including white, metallic and transparent. It can print onto more than 30 different substrates including: magnetic, reflective, fluorescent, holographic and metallic.
Spandex will also demonstrate material solutions, including its own ImagePerfect Digital and Signage brand of materials. ImagePerfect Digital includes banners, vinyl, mesh, textiles, backlit, window films, over-laminates, heat transfer materials, plus specialist materials and canvas. Sign making accessories include application fluids, banner finishing products and textile imaging materials.
ImagePerfect Signage includes sign making vinyl and specialist materials formulated for better cutting, easy weeding and application.
