Shaking hands on a deal that sees Sun Chemical Screen become a key business partner for ColorSpan printers
Colourgen has announced Sun Chemical Screen as a key business partner for the ColorSpan range of UV-curable flatbed inkjet printers. The ColorSpan portfolio includes the 9840uv for widths up to 2.5m and substrates up to 70mm thick.
More recently, ColorSpan announced the 5400uv series of multifunction 54in UV printers for direct imaging on to inexpensive, uncoated materials including rigid display boards to roll-fed media.
Colourgen’s general manager, print solutions, Peter Davidson, said: “Sun Chemical Screen’s experience and product knowledge is unrivalled and they are focused on selling to markets for which the ColorSpan range is ideally suited. We will bring value to the relationship by providing our usual high level of pre-sales support, delivery, installation, training and maintenance.”
Sun Chemical Screen’s equipment manager, Mike Farmer, added: “Our customers’ requirements and applications vary enormously from vehicle graphics and estate agent boards to high quality POS advertising and exhibition graphics. Whilst these applications and markets were traditionally served by screen process printing, the digital process is now very much a complimentary process enabling short run production to be economically produced without compromising quality.”
