DCP's photographic and Giclée roadshows will feature a series of seminars on print production

Delegates attending this year's reformatted DCP Systems roadshow are encouraged to sign up in advance if they wish to attend any of the seminars running alongside the exhibition and display. Scheduled to run between March and June, the roadshows offer digital printers, photographers and artists the opportunity to explore DCP’s photographic and fine art print production processes with guest speakers on mastering Photoshop and digital photography.

Presenters will include digital artist, Anthony Marshall, who will discuss marketing Giclée output and how to become a successful self-publishing artist.

Dates for the roadshow include 6 March in Stratford-upon-Avon, 27 March in Thirsk, 3 April in Buxton, 17 April in Merthyr Tydfil, 2 May in Winchester, 15 May in Cambridge, 5 June in Kendal and 19 June in Falkirk. Each day will run from 9am to 6pm with four and a half hours allocated to industry and technology specific seminars.

DCP’s managing director, Mike Hardcastle, said: “These digital print orientated roadshows have proved beneficial for customers and demand for our seminars this year has been high. To avoid disappointment we have reformatted the event to offer concurrent exhibition and seminar areas. Once again we expect a high turn-out for attendees who want to get down to grass roots for a better understanding of digital fine art print.”

Central to the DCP Photographic and Giclée Fine Art roadshows will be displays incorporating printers from Canon, Epson and Hewlett Packard, software solutions form OnOne, Artmaster, RealVis, Shiraz and Onyx, finishing solutions from Hotpress and Keencut, colour management from Colour-Xrite and GretagMacbeth and advanced peripherals from Wacom, Microtek, Panosaurus and Quickmate.

The cost of attendance is £39.95 for the seminars and the exhibition or £19.95 for the exhibition only. All delegates will receive a free tin of Giclée Varnish worth £24.95.
