Hexis has introduced two new high tack vinyl films designed to stick to awkward substrates including rubbish bins or other non-polar plastics.
VCR3000WG1m is a 100µm gloss white intermediate PVC with high tack clear permanent solvent-based adhesive on a 145g/m2 PE-coated liner. Outdoor durability is up to four-years. VCR200WG1 is a 70µm gloss white high performance PVC with high tack clear permanent solvent-based adhesive also on a 145g/m2 PE-coated liner. Outdoor durability is up to eight-years.
The two products are available in 1,370 and 1,600mm wide rolls by 45, 100 or 200m long. They suit solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers.
Hexis created media with a heavier adhesive weight to allow bonding to aggressive low energy surfaces such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polycarbonate and ABS. Such products include rubbish bins, canoes and motorcycle fairings.
