OYO Instruments used Fespa to unveil its Diablo direct-to-screen imaging solution.
The system uses existing thermal print head technology to image a stencil onto a standard coated screen using a thermal transfer ribbon system. Diablo is claimed to be the fastest, most flexible system on the market, applying an image mask to conventionally coated screens in less than two minutes per frame, at up to 1,200dpi. The adjustable system accepts common textile print shop frames up to 25 by 36in.
