Featuring OPOS X technology from its high-end S class equipment, Summa's new Pharos vinyl cutting plotter is said to be capable of reading cross-marks for contour cutting on reflective, holographic or mirroring materials as well as through different kinds of laminates.

It supports barcode reading for improved productivity and like the professional S class, it is automatically activated and deactivated for continuous working without operator intervention.

Other features similar to the S class model include an extended cutting mode, which enables users to cut beyond the standard width for maximum material usage and minimal waste. The SummaCut Pharos has a maximum speed of 1,113mm/s, 400gram of knife pressure and material tracking up to eight meters.

Four sizes are available, at 60, 120, 140 and 160cm. The largest three models incorporate a stand with basket and all models are shipped with Windows and Macintosh cutting software.
