A new era in green media
Following demand for environmentally responsible media, the James McNaughton Group has launched Era Gloss. Produced to the same recipe as Era Silk, with 50 per cent recycled fibre and 50 per cent FSC certified virgin pulp, Era Gloss comes in sizes between SRA2 and B1 and grammages between 100 and 250gsm. It is ideal for CSR reports, brochures or magazines and its FSC accreditation ensures that the virgin pulp used during its manufacture is sourced from sustainable forests.
To support the launch James McNaughton has produced a new swatch entitled Era: The Coated Recycled Paper, which contains printed samples of both Era Gloss and Silk. Not only does the swatch explain how Era is manufactured, it also demonstrates the printability and quality of both products. The swatch features tear off strips in each grammage, making it easier to select the right grammage for a job, or to send samples to clients.
Group marketing director, Tony Porter, said: “Working with our customers, through our sustainable solutions programme, we aim to meet the demand for products that are both chain of custody certified and recycled.”
