Exhibiting made easy
Fespa Berlin takes place 5 to 9 June 2007 in Berlin: you should be there. Had you thought of visiting or perhaps even exhibiting? Exhibitions work and Fespa’s success is clear proof of return on investment. Why? Because Fespa attracts the people you need to meet: buyers.
Effective exhibiting demands time, planning and resources. Last minute exhibiting just doesn’t work. In fact, exhibition industry research indicates that all exhibitors think exhibitions are hard work!* Until now.
DSPA has launched a UK Pavilion at Fespa 2007 and has designed some off-the-shelf packages to enable you to have a corporate presence at Fespa 2007 and literally ‘walk on’ to the stand and exhibit.
Not only that, the significant ‘on cost’ of exhibiting is avoided allowing you to concentrate on engaging and making contact with potential new business.
The UK Pavilion is open to DSPA members only and the price includes:
- Shell scheme
- Fascia name panel
- Show guide entry
- Basic furniture (one table and two chairs)
- Pavilion interpreter
- Carpet
- Publicity in DSPA literature
- Spotlight and one electrical socket
- Administrative support from DSPA
- Show freight forwarding service assistance
The Pavilion covers 100 m2 and is broken into modules (9, 12 and 18m2). The cost is Euro 290/m2 (£193). For any additional item requirements (broadband, catering, fridges, additional furniture etc) each exhibitor will be charged for those items not included in the package.
Packages are limited and demand is expected to be high so act now to reserve your position in the DSPA UK Pavilion at Fespa 2007. Deposits will be required by 28/02/07.
All exhibitors in the UK Pavilion will qualify for a rebate which will be dependent on the level of support DSPA receives from its members.
Feeling bullish?
I was fortunate enough to join the ‘great and the good of print’ at Westminster for a meeting of the All Party Print Group at the end of last year. Following on from last month’s comment about doing something dangerous, the mood of the group was almost Bullish!
Last year the event was sponsored by Canon UK and focused on ‘Technology and Innovation’, hearing from Lord O’Neill of Clackmannan (chair of the Group and former chair of the Trade and Industry Select Committee); Michael Johnson (BPIF chief executive); Tony Burke (Amicus assistant general secretary); and David Smith (managing director of Canon Business Solutions).
The speeches were extremely well received and all made the point that the printing industry, despite the doom and gloom merchants, is in fact going from strength-to- strength.
‘This is how it is, live with it’ sums up the feeling for the state of trade. For those in particular who remember the late 1970s and most of the eighties and hope that those times will return. They won’t. So, a prosperous New Year to you, and we’ll be dangerous together!
