Point of purchase (POP) printer, the Simpson Group has been awarded PA 75 accreditation. It is claimed to be the first UK printer in this sector to secure the Kitemark standard.
Developed by the BSI and BPIF specifically for the print industry, PA 75 is aimed at improving processes and enhancing service. Criteria for the accreditation relate to contracts, planning, health and safety, environmental management, IT systems, security and service and are specific to printer suppliers.
Simpson Group’s managing director, Bill McNally, said: “After setting up a steering committee, we worked tirelessly at ensuring everyone in the company understood the importance of attaining the standard. All our staff have worked hard to meet this benchmark and I am delighted we have been awarded with the Kitemark.”
