Marketing solutions company, Capital, has been awarded Forest Stewardship Council/Pan European Forest Certification (FSC/PEFC). This means that environmentally responsible print buyers can be confident they are not contributing to global forest destruction when working with Capital. To achieve the qualification, Capital had to undergo a comprehensive auditing and questionnaire process, tracing its use of forest products through the supply chain to the end-consumer.

Capital’s managing director, David Gill, said: “Print buyers, designers and agencies need to be aware of the environmental impact of the choices they make. We are committed to providing our customers with the best quality products, sourced in an environmentally friendly way.”

Capital’s purchasing manager, Will Hunneybel, added: “Capital has been recycling its waste products since 2003 so we are no stranger to environmental responsibility. We will continue to implement and improve our processes to reduce and eventually eliminate our carbon footprint.”
