Braillemaker One can handle web widths from 150 to 330mm

AB Graphic International and Convertec have announced a partnership to market the Braillemaker One digital printing machine for Braille. Recently launched, the machine is primarily aimed at producing pharmaceutical labels, leaflets and booklets.

The machine features a compact, servo controlled web path and constant tension vacuum plate. Unwind and rewind units support rolls with core diameters from 40mm up. The rewind cassette detaches, stabilising the wound roll until secure. An adjustable table allows roll splicing. The servo driven re-winder features adjustable rewind tension.

Braillemaker One can handle web widths from 150 to 330mm, roll diameters up to 450mm and speeds up to 35m/min. Options include a slitting secondary rewinding, vision inspection and UV curing.
