Seal Graphics' lamination equipment is now fully RoHS compliant

Lamination equipment manufactured by Seal Graphics is now compliant with the EU restriction on hazardous substances (RoHS) directive, which bans the use of materials such as lead, cadmium and mercury in new electronic and electrical equipment. Compliance was achieved following a process of improvement in both part acquisition and manufacturing over a prolonged period of time.

Seal Graphics' product manager for the machines, Mick Budd, said: “It has not been an easy task but as a manufacturer committed to producing machines of the highest specification, it was something we had to do. Our ability to deliver products which meet the new EU regulations high-lights our position as a market leader in lamination and encapsulation systems.”

Seal will continue to support machines of earlier construction.
