Signs are good for new show branding
In a move set to highlight the equal importance of sign and digital technologies in today's graphics and visual communication industry, Sign UK and Digital Expo has been re-branded as Sign and Digital UK. Now in its 21st year, the show returns to the NEC Birmingham on 22 to 24 April 2008.
Event director, Rudi Blackett, explained: “Much has been made of the move towards digital formats and the new branding reflects the importance of both modern and traditional technologies that make our market interesting and diverse. In re-branding as Sign and Digital UK, Faversham House Group hope to position the show as an all encompassing event with a wealth of free information, demonstrations and seminars for the entire industry.”
Recently appointed marketing manager for the show, Angeline Sherwood, added: “Sign and Digital UK is the premier trade show for the UK sign industry as a whole, whether you are a traditional sign maker, a digital wide format printing company, or an illuminated signage specialist. Through clear communication, informative, seminars, live demonstrations and open debate of the issues affecting the industry, Sign and Digital UK 2008 will be the most informative and innovative show to date.”
