Venturing into 2008, Screen Process & Digital Imaging magazine has exciting news for readers and industry alike. The opportunity has arisen to publish the Plastics & Board Industries Federation magazine (formerly the Federation of High Frequency Welders) as a quarterly supplement to SP&DI.
The PBIF magazine sits well along side SP&DI, thanks to its strong connection with the screen and digital printing industries. Many manufacturers of paper and board products have their own in-house screen and digital printing facilities, with those that don’t subcontracting this aspect of their business to screen and digital print specialists.
Likewise, many screen and digital printers offer turnkey services (including folder and binder welding) which, in turn, they subcontract to specialist high frequency welders.
Large volumes of subcontract work pass between companies in these sectors, so what better way of introducing these businesses and their services, than integrating the PBIF magazine with Screen Process and Digital Imaging’s existing portfolio.
Alongside the magazine, the PBIF website provides a useful tool for sourcing suppliers and keeping abreast of industry news.
