HP has named City and West End Solutions as its 2007 large format printer reseller of the year, as well as confirming that the company has sold more HP Designjet Z-6100s in the UK than the rest of the channel put together.
MD of City and West End Solutions, Douglas Gilbertson, said: "This year saw the introduction of a raft of new HP Designjet products, including the Z-6100 range. We are delighted with how HP has assisted its resellers in taking its products to market and our customers have responded enthusiastically to the new Z-series large format printers."
Contributing to its success, 2007 saw City and West End Solutions refurbish its large format demonstration room, which now hosts a full range of HP Designjet printers including the HP-Z6100, Z3100, Z2100 and mild-solvent 8000 and 9000 printers. The facility helps potential users compare and contrast the different models, which are all demonstrated with the latest RIP technology from either Onyx, EFI or GMG depending on print requirements.
