Welcome to the first issue of Plastics and Board the re-launched PBIF magazine. I hope that you like it, because it is the first of many.
For non-members this is probably the first issue many will have seen. We hope that bringing the world of PBIF to your door will present a wider appreciation of this market and it's opportunities to a greater audience.
For Members this issue marks the re-birth of the Federation. The aim, since acquiring the magazine and website publishing rights is to build the Federation's resources so it can once again hold industry events.
Thus, it is vital the magazine goes from strength-to-strength and grows from a supplement to a larger section. The aim is to grow to the point it becomes a stand alone title delivered alongside SPDI to the full UK circulation.
June's issue will cover promotional products, medical applications, HF equipment and fittings so if you have news, articles, press releases or other items of interest, please send them to pbifnewsdesk@datateam.co.uk.
We need good stories to provide in-depth interest and contributions provide valuable support for our own research. Also, feel free to tell us what you would like to see in future issue for the journal.
