Bio inks are good value
Available in cyan, magenta, yellow and black, Megaink has introduced a new range of environmentally friendly BioMG inks for the Mutoh line of ValueJet printers. Developed from renewable resources, using bio-solvent based pigmented digital printing fluid rather than chemical solvents, the inks could help improve safety in smaller shops, where ValueJet printers are typically used. Benefits for users are said to include reduced emissions and clean-air advantages.
Megaink's director of business development, Avi Bukai, said: "It is easy for users to switch to our BioMG inks. There is no need to flush the system before converting and it is possible to use existing ICC profiles. The resulting images also offer up to three years outdoor durability."
BioMG 440ml ink cartridges are available for the Mutoh ValueJet 1204 48in, ValueJet 1604 64in, and the ValueJet 2606 100in as well as for Mimaki and Roland printers.
