Spandex has launched four new banner systems, enabling digital printers to enhance their display services
Four new banner display systems have been launched by Spandex. The transportable products are designed for use in exhibition and retail environments and comprise the Banner-Fix, stand-up, roll-up and motorised scrolling display systems. All have been tested to ensure compatibility with materials from Spandex's ImagePerfect Digital media range, as well as with other major material suppliers.
Banner-Fix is described as an easy-to-cut and quick-to-assemble method for producing hanging banner displays. The system uses a silver anodized aluminium clamp rail to fix digitally printed graphics top and bottom. They can then be suspended from cable or fixed onto the wall using hooks. It is particularly suitable for Image Perfect IP2113, a soft, flexible, frontlit banner material and polyester textile IP2305, a coated, fire-retardant media optimised for solvent-based inkjet printing. Banner-Fix can also be used with semi-flexible and semi-rigid products such as IP2905.
Ideal for exhibitions and events, point-of-purchase, point-of-sale and other temporary applications, 200 series stand-up displays are said to offer a portable and cost-effective, free-standing banner solution. The design utilises Banner-Fix clamp rails so graphics can be interchanged and the system is compatible with IP2113, IP2305, IP2905 roll-up media with blockout and roll-up media IP2909.
Capable of creating displays up to 85 by 200cm, 300 series self-tensioning roll-up displays are available in two models. Both the 300 and 301 designs are silver anodised and can be assembled quickly. They are ideal for use with ImagePerfect roll-up media with blockout and standard roll-up media.
Finally, Spandex's 400 series motorised rolling display offers a scrolling loop banner display system, providing constantly updated graphics in point-of-sale, point-of-purchase and exhibition applications. It can be customised to any banner length and is compatible with ImagePerfect IP2305 polyester textile banner with seam tack. Weighing in at three kilograms, the portable system can be wall mounted or hung from the ceiling, for a double-sided effect.
