To help users get the best out of their printer, Epson has launched The Print Academy training day, designed to provide guidance on image capture, processing and print workflow.

Subjects covered include colour perception, the use of RAW versus JPEG files, Photoshop colour management settings, printer driver options, using ICC output profiles and black and white printing. There is also a hands on question and answers session with the Epson experts.

The event is led by former managing director of the Association of Imaging Techniques, Jonathan Briggs, who brings experience of working with Epson printers and associated software across the design, imaging and photographic sectors.

The Print Academy is held at Epson's Hemel Hempstead headquarters and costs £56.40 including VAT.
