In a move set to enhance its digital offering to customers, St Ives has acquired Service Graphics for an initial consideration of £18 million.
Service Graphics will bring a range of large format digital print services to the St Ives portfolio including a consultancy, manufacturing and installation service to the exhibition, retail, creative, live event and leisure sectors. Particular areas of expertise include the provision of all kinds of display products, modular and custom designed exhibition stands, full service retail solutions and giant media production. St Ives will continue to support Service Graphic’s current clients such as RBS, Berkeley Homes, BAA and Boots.
Following the acquisition, Service Graphics will be managed by the existing team as part of the commercial products segment of St Ives, under the leadership of Simon Ward.
Commenting on the announcement, chief executive of direct and point of sale activities at St Ives, Simon Ward, said: “Service Graphics is focused on the service delivery and the acquisition will help us develop further print related services, increasingly through digital technology.”
