Trainees at Europoint Display’s wrappers course will gain hands-on experience applying Oracal and Orajet wrap vinyls
A series of weekend training courses is being laid on by Europoint Display for budding vehicle wrappers in Scotland and the Borders.
The courses will provide hands-on tuition in all-over wrapping with specific instruction on applying graphic wrap components which have been digitally printed on Orajet 3951 cast vinyl and protected with Oraguard 290f cast over-laminate. Each course will be limited to five two-person teams to ensure everyone benefits from the one-to-one tutelage provided by applicator, James Jones.
Europoint’s branch manager for Scotland and the north-east of England, Cameron Steer, said: “With 17-years experience as a self-adhesives applicator, including seven as a wrapper, James is well placed to give trainees the practical advice they need to tackle large-scale vehicle graphics.
“All our Oracal and Orajet customers are expert at printing vinyls but not so familiar with applying them. For their businesses to grow however, they need to acquire the ability so by holding our courses at weekends and pricing them at £300 per person, we aim to put wrap training within the reach of all customers.”
