Imaging Graphics has been appointed UK distributor for Marabu's Marajet digital inks
Marabu UK has appointed Imaging Graphics as its UK distributor for the Marajet range of digital inks. Nottinghamshire-based Imaging Graphics currently represents: Luscher for direct to screen imaging; Teckwin for large format digital printers/routers; and Grunig for traditional screen printing pre-press cleaning and screen preparation equipment.
Marabu UK's managing director, Mark Gentry, said: "The alliance between both companies seemed a natural fit. Marabu have a full range of digital inks and Imaging Graphics have more than 15-years experience in the supply of pre-press and digital equipment to the UK market."
Marabu UK will access Imaging Graphics' digital engineering and technical support to ensure ink changeovers are undertaken by trained professionals to ensure minimum disruption.
Mark continued: "Whilst the inks are proven and have been available from Germany for some time, it was important to us to be able to support the customer with back-up in terms of engineering support, access to spare parts and digital expertise in terms of profiling of medias for different types of RIPs and output engines. Our customers' experience needed to be more than just delivering ink on time."
