Murals created by Surface View will utilise 3M's Scotchcal film for textured surfaces

3M has appointed Surface View as a channel partner dedicated to the interior design and architecture sector. Under the agreement, Surface View will create bespoke interior murals using 3M's Scotchcal film for textured surfaces, enabling murals to be applied directly to bare brick and painted walls.

Utilising a portfolio of images from sources such as the V&A, Wayne Hemingway and the National Maritime Museum, Surface View will use 3M's products to produce murals which adhere to glass, metal, wood, painted surfaces, floors, fixtures and fittings. This facilitates alteration of interior décor in private residences or commercial and public spaces.

3M's digitally printable, coloured and translucent vinyl is designed to offer a hard wearing and washable surface, which can be overlaminated with anti-graffiti or anti-abrasion products for further protection. Unlike wallpaper products, it is also said to adhere well to contours and corners.
