Pantone's forecasting tool for homes and interiors features eight separate colour palettes
Colour and trend inspiration is at hand with Pantone's latest palettes for home furnishings and interior design: Pantone View Home and Interiors 2009.
This forecasting tool helps designers select the right shades and combinations when creating products for the home and interior spaces. It contains swatch cards of the 69 forecasted colours, each measuring four by one inch, along with visual inspiration and colour harmonies for each of the eight individual palettes. The tool also includes a digital colour library for incorporating the palettes into design software. CMYK printing equivalents are supplied to reproduce the forecasted colours in marketing materials, in-store signs and packaging.
For manufacturers and retailers in industrial design, Pantone offers plastic chips of each of the forecasted colours. Pantone also provides Pantone View Home and Interiors Inspiration 2009, a colour inspiration tool for interior designers and design-savvy consumers that includes the eight home colour palettes for 2009, alongside corresponding visual inspirations and colour harmonies.
The eight colour palettes for 2009 are Wine Country, Honesty, Discerning Tastes, Reveries, Wanderings, Solar Energy, Breathe Easy and Animate.
