Routers team up for signage solutions
Suppliers of standard and bespoke routing and engraving solutions, AXYZ Automation and Pacer Systems will exhibit as a joint enterprise, demonstrating the capability of both companies to meet contrasting routing and engraving requirements and to process complex signage concepts.
AXYZ Automation will demonstrate both a large-format twin-head 5014 routing system and a smaller machine incorporating the company's intelligent cutting system (ICS). The large-format solution, which has a process length of 4.2m and incorporates an automatic tool change facility, is designed to speed up and simplify the fabrication of large sign fascias and panels, billboards and large-format graphics. The ICS feature to be shown on the smaller machine incorporates a high-resolution camera to capture print registration marks and I-cut control software. The system is designed to resolve problems associated with linear and non-linear material distortion.
Pacer Systems will exhibit its multi-purpose Cadet and also the latest 2512K series CNC router. The Cadet is said to offer high-end production along with a built in floating head system for fine-depth engraving. The supporting XMC-E machine control software adds to the versatility of the machine, specifically the production of two and three-dimensional products.
The new 2512K CNC router has a number of new features designed to benefit sign makers. Key enhancements include a twin ball screw system with dual xaxis motors and a heavier bed and frame to ensure rigidity and provide optimum accuracy and smooth cutting under all conditions. A zoned vacuum bed of either four or six zones enables localisation of the vacuum at specific areas.
