Forexprint is just one of the new sheet materials Alcan Composites will showcase at Sign and Digital UK. On show for the first time in the UK, the substrate is said to feature a super-bright white surface and print-friendly features at a mid-range price.
Samples of Alcan's new Forexsmart composite will also be available. This five millimetre thick, 100 per cent recyclable, rigid foam sheet is suitable for use where the substrate is not supported by a framework, as manufacturers claim it won't sag under its own weight.
Additions to the Dibond range of aluminium composite panels include: Dibond decor, a range of wood effect finishes with printed textured surfaces designed to offer a sustainable and easy-to-fabricate alternative to hardwoods; and Dibondstucco, with its traditional stucco plaster finish appearance. Both products can be used with screen or digital printing and are suitable for internal or external applications.
Other new products include Foam-Xnew, now with a polyurethane core for increased stiffness and recycled liners.
Visitors will also be able to discuss recycling and sustainability with product specialists on the stand, as well as registering for Alcan's large format sample packs.
