Consultancy highlights green signage solutions
Business development director, Steve Lister, will head up RHSD's new green consultancy service
Robert Horne Sign and Display (RHSD) has launched a new environmental consultancy service, along with an expanded environmental product range.
Led by business development director, Steve Lister, the new service will support environmental product selection as well as offering facilities such as waste management to assist with recycling and waste reduction, in partnership with The Carbon Neutral Company.
The service includes an environmental audit to calculate a client's carbon footprint. Once this has been established, RHSD helps develop an action plan to reduce the signmakers' environmental impact with emphasis on choosing appropriate sign and display materials as well as office environment and energy use.
As part of the launch, RHSD has also enhanced its environmental product range. New options include Avery Greenline, a non PVC self adhesive product, fibre based digital wallpapers and FSC accredited display boards produced with 100 per cent consumer waste. Other alternatives to traditional display materials include Forex
Smart, which is a 100 per cent recyclable polystyrene board and Foamalux Xtra, which is a rigid closed cell composite foam board containing 80 to 90 per cent recycled content.
In the general banner and soft signage area RHSD is sourcing new polyethylene recyclable products and banners, which will be 100 per cent recyclable.
Further to this range, RHSD has announced that its DTec aqueous inkjet media has been accredited to the programme for the endorsement of forest certification (PEFC), ensuring that its fibre content is from sustainable and managed forests.
