Larch Consulting's Lucy Jeynes explained why many print tenders fail
Delegates who attended PrintLondon's workshop on Winning Public Sector Contracts were treated to an insider view of how public sector buyers select winning tenders.
With a print background and experience in both buying and tendering, Larch Consulting's Lucy Jeynes explained the reasons why many print tenders fail. She also discussed how to register and prepare successfully for Olympic print work.
Director of PrintLondon, Chris Patefield, said: "Increasingly, public sector and commercial buyers want to know what kind of company they will be dealing with before they even consider price and quality. Printers that are not able to show they have good health and safety, environmental and human resource practices, for example, can fail to get past first base.
"Why waste valuable resources making failed bids when PrintLondon funding can help you improve in these areas and win new business? As PrintLondon starts its second and final year of funding this is an opportunity not to be missed."
