Leach's Stik magnetic graphic display system has won a Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category

A magnetic graphic display system developed by large format graphics producer, Leach Colour, has received the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2008. The award was given in the Innovation category for the company's Stik system, which is used in retail stores, car showrooms, commercial interiors and heritage sites in the UK and abroad.

The system comprises two elements, a permanent magnetic base and a flexible graphic panel with a ferrous coating. Once the magnetic base has been installed, the graphic panels can be installed by the customer's own staff without tools, nails, screws or adhesives. Updating graphics is simply a matter of peeling off the old panels and replacing them with new. As replacement panels can be changed by on-site staff, road travel is reduced.

Managing director, Richard Leach, said: "The Queen's Award carries worldwide recognition and I am sure it will enhance our standing with customers and suppliers, giving us an edge over our competitors."
