Promotional merchandise and carrier-bag specialist, Kan-do-it, has launched a new range of jute bags featuring a fully bio-degradable plastic lining. The launch mirrors trends in the promotional products industry, which continues to move towards eco-friendly products.
Managing director of Kan, Catrina Clarke, explained: "Jute bags are traditionally lined with plastic, so while the bag was eco-friendly, the liner inside would not decompose. Now Kan has modified its range of Spice bags to include a bio-degradable plastic lining, making us the only company in the UK to distribute a bio-degradeable jute bag."
