New facilities at Bluetree include a Nur Expedio Inspiration printer, helping the company keep up to date with point of sale requirements

Yorkshire-based screen and large format digital printer, Bluetree, has invested £1.5million in new premises, infrastructure and technology. The move will enhance its ability to meet point of sale requirements with larger digital print product runs.

The specially designed large format digital printing and finishing facility houses two new presses, a Nur Expedio Inspiration and an Inca Spyder Q, as well as two new finishing machines, a Cauhe 2.6m guillotine and a Crossland UK Platen. The new presses were chosen for their speed, reliability and quality and with Bluetree's CAD cutting facilities, will offer increased efficiency.

Sales and marketing director of Bluetree, Debbie Bradshaw, said: "This investment enables us to provide consistently high, even photographic image quality, point of sale. For our customers to stay one step ahead of the competition we need to provide them with the tools to do it, which is why the new equipment is essential for us to continue offering custom made unique point of sale."

The investment has also been key to creating more employment opportunities with five jobs created so far.
