The PBIF web site is now active as a microsite at www.spdi-online.com. The Products and Services Directory is also up and running, where suppliers can upload their company details under the appropriate classified headings.
Federation members asked for this facility so I hope as many as possible will add their details: it makes finding a company much easier if the enquirer does not know the company name as and when sectors are an option. At the time of writing ten companies are using the facility and we hope to grow it to at least 60. The facility is free to use.
There are still some membership payments outstanding. If we are to reenergise the PBIF we need membership fees paid as soon as possible. From an advertising point of view, membership discount is well worth having.
Unless you are a paid-up member you will not receive a discount for the September issue. The 2008 media pack can be downloaded from the PBIF drop-down menu on the web site.
Thank you to those who supplied advertisements, stories, articles and press releases for the first two issues. We are interested in feedback, especially regarding the increased circulation. Deadline for the September issue is 7 August so please start planning now.
