Hexis has introduced a repositionable vinyl film designed to simplify fleet wrap applications
An all new cast vinyl film with Hex’press adhesive technology has been introduced by Hexis to meet demand for vehicle wraps and fleet graphics.
Users can choose from two options: HX200WG1 with a 70µm calendered vinyl, or the HX100WG1 with a 50µm cast vinyl film and an adhesive compound designed to ensure the product can be repositioned during application. The latter is suitable for solvent and eco-solvent printers and Hexis provides ICC colour profiles for most printers.
Both products feature an embossed liner with a structured adhesive and conformable vinyl formulations for fast transfer. Because the film can be repositioned during application, it is said to be more cost-effective on curved substrates as well as making it easier to eliminate air bubbles. Films are supplied in rolls of 100 or 145m long and 1,370mm wide. The HX200WG1 is also available in a 1,600mm width.
