Take a look inside the Green Box
Packaged together for the first time, Robert Horne's Green Box contains samples of all environmentally friendly products from the Sign and Display collection. It offers detailed information on the green credentials of each product, the benefits of changing to a new media, what it can be substituted for and what products could be made from the recycled content.
In the banner market, for example, there have been requests for an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional PVC scrim banner which is disposed of via landfill. Sign and Display therefore highlights its Ole-flex PVC-free banner, made from polypropylene and polyethylene. This 100 per cent recyclable product can be made into items such as signal lights, ice scrapers and oil funnels.
For the general print/posters/ displays market, products such as Revive 75 and Revive 50:50 offer an alternative to products without Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) accreditation. As well as being 100 per cent recyclable Revive products already contain recycled content and can be used to make new recycled paper and cardboard products such as catalogues, greeting cards, books and posters.
Robert Horne Sign and Display's business development director, Steve Lister, explained: "The market for green alternatives to traditional sign and display materials is growing and to make it easier for our customers to see the range of products on offer, we developed The Green Box."
