Investing in POS production
When Newport-based Lexon Group wanted to produce POS material for its high-end retail customers, it decided to invest in a Screen Truepress Jet2500UV hybrid roll-fed and flatbed inkjet system. With its grayscale printheads, it can print at a variety of resolutions, producing 70m2/h at 300dpi and photo quality detail at 1,500dpi.
Sales director Benn Davis said: "We already have full offset, digital and screen facilities and we needed a system that was capable of producing quality POS material for our high-end clients such as Christian Dior. We are expanding our POS division and the Truepress Jet2500UV will open up new avenues for us in the retail sector."
The Truepress Jet2500UV is ideal for POS work, with its flatbed capabilities enabling printing on substrates up to 2500mm wide and up to 50mm thick.
