Since the July issue I am pleased to say that I have had some eight enquiries for information from PBIF members and about ten enquiries from the public for services offered by Federation members. All have been answered satisfactorily and 90 per cent same day.
Members can help themselves further using the Products and Services Directory on the PBIF website. There they can make it much easier for enquirers to find out which products and services they provide.
The PVC & PP Supplier/Converter immediately links to the sites so enquirers do not have to trawl through each member entry to find what they want. The service is free to members and easy to enable: just scroll down to the foot of the Directory page and follow the instructions.
We want members to benefit from the new website and this is an easy way of maximising exposure.
Our request for stories, articles and press releases has received an underwhelming level of suitable material after the first flush. Please pass anything that you wish broadcast to pbifnewsdesk@datateam.co.uk.
There is still time to contribute editorially to the September issue of Plastics and Board. The editorial deadline is 6 August, so please get writing now.
