Encore Machinery will launch a range of high speed PitStop creasers. Ideal for high volume digital and offset users, the new double-headed PitStop operates at 11,000sph with the ability to crease and perforate in one pass. The PitStop FM Speed can be fitted with a punching tool for Wiro binding or two and four hole drilling. These machines handle sheet sizes up to 50 by 70cm and stocks up to 600gsm with a perforating and micro-perforating tool.
Alternatively, small format printers up to 36 by 70cm on stock up to 400gsm can crease and perforate at 8,000sph with the new PitStop Mini. This will be linked to the MB38 fold unit, for a productive and flexible solution. Also set to launch is the 38 by 65cm MB prestigeFOLD NET38, designed to offer automation from feeder to delivery with CIP3/4 compatibility and increased productivity for the smaller format printer.
As sole UK distributor for JUD perfect binding machines, Encore will also showcase the MR720 automated single clamp machine and the four clamp Quadrimax II. Both are available with hot melt and PUR glue systems. The PUR pressurised head is said to offer spine and side gluing with low operator maintenance.
