Delivering fine art with finesse
Working closely with suppliers, Colourgen and Epson, value-added reseller, DCP Systems, has established a centre of excellence for fine art and photography printing. The facility will run from the company's Sheffield showroom, which already enables customers in the North to view the latest wide format printing technology.
Managing director of DCP Systems, Darren Walker, explained: "We have put a lot of effort into developing the fine art and photographic market over the last five years, with regular seminars throughout the region offering advice from industry experts."
Said to represent a great fit for the new centre, DCP has already had some success with the Epson Stylus Pro 11880, including an installation at Jenko Graphics in Hull. DCP also supplied two Epson 11880s for a school which handles fine art and photographic reproductions onto canvas.
Darren continued: "More and more of our customers are taking advantage of the 11880's size and are producing high quality output up to 60in. They are also using it to deliver print production as a service and revenue raiser because the printer is so reliable, delivering consistent prints every time."
