Vinyl film manufacturer, Hexis, has launched a new line of matt cast laminates designed to achieve glare-free vehicle wraps.
Suitable for use on complex curved and corrugated surfaces, PC30M2 30µm matt cast laminate is designed for use on cast vinyls: both printed and full colour. It will enable wide-format digital printers and installers to differentiate with matt details and accents, providing new creative opportunities beyond conventional fleet marking. The finish can also be photographed from any angle, outdoors and under artificial lighting conditions.
Hexis claims installers will benefit from its conformability and convenient application with improved productivity. For ease of use and durability PC30M2 features a 145g/m2 release liner combined with a clear acrylic solvent-based adhesive with UV-filter for protection against colour fade and environmental aggressions. Outdoor durability is three to five years depending on the substrate.
