Océ introduces the Océ Arizona 350 GT UV cure flatbed printer with support for white ink and high production speeds. It is said to offer near-photographic image quality using VariaDot imaging technology and can print on a variety of rigid substrates with a roll media option for flexible media.

The white ink option can be fitted in the factory or added  in the field. It enables under-printing for non-white media, over-printing for backlit applications on transparent media and printing white as a spot colour.

Production print speeds are said to reach up to 22.2m2h on rigid media and up to 17.5m2h using the roll media option. The Arizona 350 GT can print onto rigid media up to 1.25m wide by 2.5m long  by 48mm thick or onto flexible media up to 2.2m wide.

The ability to print on irregularly shaped or non-square items means the Océ Arizona 350 GT presents opportunities for applications that command premium prices. It can also be used for heavy substrates such as glass, or materials that have an uneven surface such as wood. This feature, along with the white ink option, opens the door to exotic applications including custom furniture, glasswork, fixture enhancement, fine art.
