PROVIDING CUSTOMERS with both product range and service flexibility is no mean feat. It relies on combining the right stock in the warehouse with appropriate technical expertise and equipment.

SilverScreen's Terry Reeves, explains: "We have full converting facilities on-site enabling us to fully meet customer needs. This includes a three by two metre wall saw and guillotines, a sheeter for converting roll stock to sheet stock and a slitter and re-reeler for converting screen and sign vinyls. We also have an in-house stretching department, where we are able to stretch frames up to 3000 by 2000mm. SilverScreen is a distributor for both Coates and Kromex ink systems and we have an on-site computerised ink blending facility.

"In line with the changing marketplace we also stock vinyls, banner and other substrates to be digitally printed."

One of the company's most recent partnerships is with Intercoat, with SilverScreen picking up UK distribution rights for Intercoat's sign, screen and digital vinyl substrates. A comprehensive stock of Intercoat vinyl is held at SilverScreen's warehouse in the Midlands area.

Terry continued: "Based in Tamworth, Staffordshire, we cover the entire Midlands area with our own fleet of vehicles. This enables us to service customers on a daily basis with free delivery in this region. This is backed by 24-hour carriage to all parts of the UK and next day delivery on all stock items."

With a combined experience of over 45 years in the screenprint and sign industries, SilverScreen  aims to cement this offering with technical expertise and assistance on all products, including the Intercoat range. This comprises a complete range of screen vinyls in white, clear and coloured, sheets and roll stock, plus a range of full colour screen vinyls including translucent colours and metallics.
