Identify's DirectJet printer uses a unique ink system that does not require surface pre-treatment. Delivering the ink through a high resolution, modified Epson print head, the system is designed to provide detailed, vibrant coloured images.
The RIP controls the print process, from the amount of ink delivered to the substrate to fine tuning colours. White enhancement ink is available and is being further developed for printing onto dark surfaces.
The printer features a ‘clear' channel which provides additional durability for dye-based inks. Clear can be used to undercoat difficult surfaces and top coat for durability and solvent resistance.
DirectJet is being used in applications including signage, trophy manufacture, product identification and graphics.
Two models are available featuring a 330 by 520mm or 305 by 305mm print area. Both printers benefit from good clearance under the adjustable height printhead for versatility and volume.
