Ilford has expanded its range of wide-format Omnijet media
An expanded range of wide format Omnijet media is now available from Ilford, as showcased at the Paperworld 2007 exhibition, held in Frankfurt this January.
All films are designed for use with pigment and thermal ink jet printers using aqueous dye or pigment based ink sets, making them ideal for sign and display makers or graphics fabricators working on wide format applications.
Highlights of the range include the Instant Dry Matt Self Adhesive Vinyl, a 175gsm white opaque, matt vinyl with a permanent adhesive. This is said to bond permanently to virtually any mounting substrate, making it an excellent choice for short-term outdoor and long-term indoor mounted graphics. It is thought to offer a broad colour gamut and water fastness with pigmented inks.
Instant Dry Satin Banner and Banner Textile products can be found in the range, comprising a 120gsm, white polypropylene film and a 115gsm, white polyester fabric respectively. Also in the banner line-up, the Instant Dry Matt Banner is a 130gsm, white polypropylene film for use with pigment inks.
Finally, Ilford's Instant Dry Matt Canvas is a 330gsm, cotton/polyester blend designed to offer a high resistance to cracking and superior framing performance for indoor digital prints.
