Standardising colour
Published:  27 October, 2009

Ceram has announced CCSII Mini Colour Standards. The company's colour standards are internationally recognised as the leading set of standards for use in colour measurement and calibration. Produced using ceramic technology, they are stable, durable, non-fluorescent and easy to use.

CCSII Mini comprises 1cm2 wafers of the twelve CCSII colours, plus black and white standards, all embedded in a protective assembly the size of a credit card. CSII Mini can be used for colour calibration of digital imaging systems and printing press spectrophotometers.

Ceram business manager, Sean Hillman, said: "We are delighted to have been able to develop this product to meet such a useful technological need.  We are certain that there are many similar commercial applications that will be able to exploit this development to their own benefit."
