3M's Scotchcal 5525SE series has been added to William Smith's material distribution portfolio. This intermediate polymeric calendered translucent film is designed for etched glass and sandblast effects.
It can be used to create designs on glass, acrylic or polycarbonate and offers an affordable alternative to etching or sandblasting on glass. Its low gloss surface is said to eliminate glare making it suitable for privacy/obscurity as well as decorative applications.
Scotchcal 5525SE is suitable for both interior and exterior applications with three years exterior durability and up to five years interior durability.
