Display producers increasingly want to work with PDFs, which is why Shiraz Software has developed an integrated plug-in for its Signature and Server versions. This embeds complete functionality within the existing RIP and enables users to adhere to this standard delivery format common throughout the digital print market.
The optional plug-in extends the RIP's functionality to full Acrobat 9 (PDF 1.7 +Ext) certification, providing greater security and reliability in distribution and exchange of electronic documents across all work-flow environments.
Available for integration with Shiraz v6.60 and Signature v7.0, the plug-in is ideal for users of multiple output devices that use the company's Server option as well as smaller companies using the Signature product to drive a single printer.
Able to handle live transparency and layering, as well as PDF files of all sizes and specifications, this plug-in is said to produce high quality rendering for smooth graduations and blends. It provides quality and reliability found in Adobe technology and is interoperable with products such as Illustrator and InDesign.
